Western Commodities are importers and processors of dried fruits and edible nuts.
Who are we?
Western Commodities is a family owned private company trading in Dried Fruit and Edible Nuts.
We share offices with our sister company, Western Organic Commodity Services, in Devon, in the south west of England.
What do we do?
We source commodities from around the world, principally nuts and dried fruits. Our range is expanding particularly as our organic business grows. For instance we now trade seeds, grains and pulses.
Where do we do business?
All over the world. We ship full container loads directly from origin to clients on other continents. For example, we regularly send fruit from Iran direct to the USA. We also consolidate loads from our UK stocks for export around the world.
At home in the U.K. we land and store much of our produce for delivery to clients by the pallet. At our purpose built factory in Devon we dice fruit, wash, clean, grade and pack.
